The National Police Commission Regional Office No. 3, under the leadership of Dir. Julieta P. Rañeses, MNSA, CESO IV, successfully conducted the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations on December 3 and 4, 2022, respectively, at Pampanga High School (PHS), City of San Fernando, Pampanga. A total of 941 civilians flocked the PHS to take the PNP Entrance examination while 397 police officers took the Promotional Examinations. Successful examinees for PNP Entrance will be conferred with qualifying eligibility for entry into the police service and passers for Promotional Examinations will be granted eligibilities required for promotion to the ranks corresponding to the examination’s Eligibility Rank Coverage. Examination results are expected two (2) months after the conduct of the test and will be posted on the NAPOLCOM official website.
Dir. Julieta P. Rañeses, MNSA, CESO IV, together with Atty. Alexander Kent N. Daguna (Chief Examiner), Ms. Shiela Marie T. Pagaduan (Assistant Chief Examiner), Atty. Clarence Clifford V. De Guzman (Security Officer), and the NAPOLCOM R3 exam team, steered ocular inspection at Pampanga High School, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, in preparation for the administration of the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examination on December 3 and 4, 2022, respectively. In order to safeguard the general conduct of the examination, the exam team made an orientation on the tasks and duties of security and utility personnel of Pampanga High School.
Dir. Julieta P. Raňeses, MNSA, CESO IV, met with Mrs. Lyn M. Esguerra, Principal of Pampanga High School (PHS) on October 22, 2022, and requested that PHS will serve as an examination venue for the upcoming PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations on December 3 and 4, 2022. Mrs. Esguerra subsequently assured Dir. Raňeses of the continuous support of PHS officials and employees for NAPOLCOM's activities and projects.
The National Police Commission conducts two sets of police examinations twice a year, one for those who are already in the police service (promotional), and another for those aspiring to enter the Philippine National Police (PNP entrance).
PNP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Those who passed this examination are conferred by the NAPOLCOM, the PNP Entrance Eligibility which is appropriate for appointment to the rank of Patrolman/woman, as prescribed under sec. 30 of Republic Act No. 6975, as amended by Republic Act No. 8551.
PNP PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATION
The PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS are open exclusively to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP who meet the minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility. Click here to view the General Qualifications – Addendum to the General Qualifications
Applicants shall utilize the On-Line Exam Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) to request the Regional Office for their schedule on the filing of examination application. Applicants will personally appear at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on the date assigned to them, with their printed on-line Confirmation Letter, filled-out Application Form and other required documents, for further evaluation.
POLICE EXECUTIVE SERVICE ELIGIBILITY EXAMINATION
The POLICE EXECUTIVE SERVICE ELIGIBILITY EXAMINATION (PESE) is an eligibility requirement for the ranks of Police Colonel, Police Brigadier General, Police Major General, Police Lieutenant General and Police General.
The two-phased PESE examination process consists of written examination and panel interview. Both phases contain analytical questions on police leadership and police values designed to select the best future leaders in the police service.
After passing the two-phased Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) Examination, 263 Police Lieutenant Colonels (PLTCOL) and Police Colonels (PCOL) will be conferred with the PESE Certificate in the conferment rites to be held on April 27, 2022.
